What travelers are saying

  • Great National park. Go see it before they are all gone. Over the last few years, many tall trees have been destroyed by fires, so don't delay! Grant Grove Village has the best store so if you're coming in off 180 stop there. The Lodgepole store runs out of supplies fast. We stayed at Wuksachi lodge which is 25 miles into the park - takes one full hour + to get there off 180 entrance. The lodge is very nice, rooms are spacious most have a medium college fridge and microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. Restaurant & Bar is open for all three meals with limited times. There is a breakfast buffet of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, and toast. Lunch has sandwiches salads (3 types) and pizza. Dinner is the same. There are daily specials with soup and an entree. Entree may or may not be different between lunch & dinner. Go early as they run out of things and oftenThere are trails around the lodge and chairs and benches to sit and relax. Go out at night to star gaze. There are 3 buildings for rooms and all are uphill from the parking lot. There are carts for luggage but no elevators in the buildings. Many trails around the lodge are paved. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Highly recommend the park and lodge.

Whilst the park suffered bush fires it will recover soon...it has some magnificent huge trees and definitely worth seeing

  • This review is a little late, but we saw the Beach Boys at the Fox Theatre in December. I am somewhat ashamed to admit the I have lived in this area for 30 years and this was our first visit to the Fox Theatre. It was an outstanding concert, and the venue was for its age, beautiful. Will definitely attend other attractions.

  • This play area is adorable to spend a few hours at. I found it on Groupon and purchased three tickets. The staff at the front desk was amazing and friendly. The rest of the staff was great and would tidy up the area at each station.

The outside has a cute water play area where you can "fish" with enough magnetic poles for the flow school vacation brought in. I couldn't help but think there was possibly a play structure outside before because there was a big open dirt lot before you go to some picnic tables.

they have limited snacks and ice cream for purchase so bring your lunch. we didn't bring a lunch so we left to get some in the area, lots of food choices to choose from in the area. they stamp your hand so you can come back in.

great day of family fun and everyone was satisfied. the piano was our favorite!

  • We be hosted a few sweet 16 birthday parties there and they have been catered at this location and they have had a good turn out. Recently they have done remodeling to the place and still has some more going on. Location is right by the fwy and in downtown. Bank in right next door and restaurants nearby

    Visalia

Really came to this park to only visit the museum that is located within the park.

    Plenty of parking.
Free to enter but asking for donations.
This place is great and has just so much stuff on display. To me almost everything was something I had not seen before.
Lots of stuff on the local history, some on locals in the military,
Saddle making, guns, blacksmith, doctors, dentist, fire systems, post office, barbershop, etc.
A few very cool old cars & trucks.
    Old house
    Old schools
Lots of agricultural equipment and tools.
All kinds of wagons including a covered wagon.
    A old caboose
    And etc., etc.

Love this place but it needs a lot of upkeep and dusting. I hate to see so much history be so unkept.

I love this place! For some reason there are not any signs on the street (probably bureaucracy junk) so you can accidentally drive past it. There are several buildings to peruse through and the owners are very friendly.

Huge area, multiple venues on site, plenty of playground equipment, including restrooms and water. Can be crowded during weekend soccer tournaments.

  • This was an amazing way for the whole family to enjoy the trip up the mountain to Sequoia National Park. We are from TX, so mountain driving isn't our thing. When I came across this on trip advisor I called immediately. The drivers were friendly, safe drivers, very informative and just all around amazing! It cost $20 per person round trip and very well worth it. I would highly recommend this route to others to see these awesome trees. It was definitely a 10 out of 10.

  • We had a party and reserved a room but food service was overwhelmed by the 30 or so chattering kids. Food was a long time coming but there are enough kid distractions that they did not complain. The venue is very clean and staff are friendly. Buy the package or unlimited deals to save you time at the change machines. It is a kids venue so expect squeals and shrieks and a few tears. Just revel in the energy of the under 12 set.

  • We have used Classic Charter several times to take us to the Fresno Airport and to the Hanford train depot for vacations. They are always on time for pick up and drop offs, cars are clean, drivers are friendly and professional. Will totally use them for our next trip.

  • Flate rate to enjoy the entire park. For all ages including adults! Fun way to stay active. They have many things to offer such as an American ninja course , foam pits, mini zipline, dunking trampolines and caged in dodgeball.

  • Beautiful yoga studio space in Visalia! The owner Kristen is so kind and welcoming, as well as an amazing instructor. I took her restorative class on a Sunday morning with a friend after a day of hiking in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park and it was incredible. I felt so relaxed after class. The merchandise is also beautifully curated, I ended up buying three cute crop tops that were reasonably priced.
